On June 8, 2016, Students from the MAN 412 Entrepreneurship and Creativity course toured El Dorado Furniture. Students were excited to learn that El Dorado Furniture is owned and managed by the Capo Family. Six brothers oversee the operations of the furniture stores, and each one specializes in a specific area to ensure the best service for their customers.

Daniel Capo, one of the third generation of the Capos, gave UIC students a tour through the warehouse located in Miami Gardens that distributes furniture to all the different warehouses in South Florida.

Later during the morning, students met with the Chief Marketing Officer, Roberto Capo, who shared interesting facts with the students. 5% of El Dorado Furniture Customers are overseas even though the company does not invest in any type of international advertising. Venezuela is the # 1 overseas buyer of El Dorado Furniture.

UIC students are extremely thankful to the Capo family and the staff of El Dorado Furniture for the learning experience.
